What is the Moncton Wildcats Booster Club?
The Moncton Wildcats Booster Club is a not for profit organization of approximately 30 volunteers. These volunteers are dedicated sports enthusiasts who help support the Moncton Wildcats hockey franchise and its players achieve their goals.
How does the Booster Club support the Wildcats?
The following are some of the activities, including examples, that the Booster Club participates in to provide support:
- raise money for player's education fund (50/50 and sweater draws)
- supporting and promoting the Moncton Wildcats Junior Hockey Club (bus trips)
- boosting the morale of the players (bowling and Christmas parties)
- promoting the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in the greater Moncton area (autograph sessions)
- providing a social organization for Booster Club members and the hockey club (Skate with the Cats)
- supporting and promoting community activities (road hockey tournament)
- providing support to the players in time of need
