Brad Marchand

Born in Sackville, NS, Brad has had skates on almost since the time he could walk. When he was 2, his Dad taught him how to skate and when he was 3 he was introduced to hockey. He’s loved the game ever since. Last year he finished his Midget season with the Dartmouth Subways with an impressive 94 points. ( 47 goals and 47 assists )His favorite team to play against is Halifax Mooseheads. Growing up in Hammonds Plains, NS ( close to Dartmouth ) Brad has been to many Mooseheads games. Now being in the QMJHL and playing against them is exciting for him. When asked about the city of Moncton, he said " I love Moncton, they’re good people, the fans treat us like Royalty " Brad’s happy to be in Moncton but does miss his close friends, family, and his dog, Bailey.He loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing, camping, and golf. He also is continuously training to keep physically fit.His nicknames are Mini Me and March ( pronounced Marsh ) The Toronto Maple Leafs is Brad’s favorite NHL team. His favorite player is Martin St. Louis from Tampa Bay Lightning. If hockey is not in his future, he would like to work for his father’s construction business and perhaps one day run the company.
