Jean-Christophe Blanchard

Moncton's first pick in the 2003 QMJHL Entry Draft has had a great start this year. Jean Christophe Blanchard is from Lachenaie, Quebec and started out playing hockey when he was 5. He played a couple years as a defenseman, then later switched to goalie. Another sport JC loves to play is golf. From home, he misses his dog, a lab named Saku (Koivu). JC is very happy to be a part of the Moncton Wildcats and wants to continue to improve his game. Jean Christophe Blanchard and Corey Crawford are currently the two top goaltenders in the league.
