Tim Spencer Tim Spencer is from a little town called Carnduff, Saskatchewan which has a population of 1100. His family runs Spencers Foods, a local store which offers most necessities. As a young boy, Tim played hockey in Carnduff for 5 years. He then played in Estevan, a larger city an hour from his home, for some stiffer competition. He played there for 10 years. A memorable moment for Tim was in midget hockey when his team won the league championship and provincial title. Tims goals for this year are to help the team in anyway he can and to get himself noticed. Tim is very pleased to be a part of the Moncton Wildcats and thinks Moncton has the best junior club in Canada. He also says Moncton has great fans and really appreciates those who traveled to Quebec in November for a few road games. Tims family has been to Moncton twice this year to see him play. He has an older sister who is a massage therapist and has worked with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. She is also a big supporter of Tims hockey. His favorite NHL Team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. His favorite players are Todd Bertuzzi and Jarome Iginla. Tim loves hockey but also has a big passion for golf. As well, he enjoys baseball and hunting deer & geese back home. Tim would like to study kinesiology and become a personal trainer if hockey is not in his future. |
